Three of the ancestor trees go through Brockton and Hingham to England. Marcy Lang's goes through New Hampshire to England. Marie Bouvier's goes through Canada to France.

Anton Fredriksen's goes very quickly through Gloucester Massachusetts to the island of Tjøme off the coast of Norway.

Note a very different naming convention. The daughter of Ludvig takes the name Ludvigdatter. The son of Magnus is Magnosson.  In addition, an extra name based on where one lives is sometimes used.  This was long traditional in Norway, but the name Fredriksen became fixed when the family reached Gloucester.
