THOMAS RICHARDS came probably in the ship Mary and John, sailing from Plymouth, 20 Mar. 1630, and arriving at Nantasket, 30 May, 1630. (Clapp Genealogy, 3.) He was made a freeman of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, 13 May, 1640. (Register, 3: 187.) he was born in England, near 1590, and died at Weymouth, shortly before 28 Jan. 1650-51. He married in England Wealthean Loring,, who survived him, and died in Boston between 3 July and 4 Nov. 1679. Her will is published in the Richards Genealogy, 1861, pages 5and6. His wife was probably a sister to Thomas Loring of Hull.
